  • What can I expect if I found a discrepancy on your site?
    Accuracy of Information and Pricing Policy At D. Schafer, our goal is to provide our customers with accurate, detailed, and up-to-date information on our website. However, despite our best efforts, occasional human or technological errors may occur. This website may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, some of which may pertain to pricing, availability, or product descriptions. We reserve the right to: Correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time, even after an order has been placed. Change or update information without prior notice, including pricing, availability, and product details. Cancel or adjust orders affected by such errors. If we identify an error in the price of an item you have ordered, we will: Contact you to offer the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or canceling it. If we are unable to reach you, we reserve the right to cancel your order and notify you of the cancellation. We appreciate your understanding and are committed to maintaining the accuracy and reliability of our website to provide you with the best shopping experience possible.
  • Will I be charged with sales tax on my D. Schafer purchase?
    D. Schafer collections are available at Flying Solo NYC (419 Broome St., New York, NY 10013) and www.flyingsolo.nyc. We comply with the policies of our distributor Flying Solo NYC D. Schafer includes in its price taxes to be paid in Guatemala for online transactions. All export products will not pay sales tax (IVA) in Guatemala. Other taxes to be paid internationally should be charged upon delivery, based on the shipping address as required by applicable law taxes. The actual sales tax will be calculated when you submit your order and may vary from the estimated amount.
  • How do I apply promotional codes?
    To apply a promotional code, simply click on the "Add Promotional Code" link in your shopping bag. This will expand a section where you can enter your code in the provided input field. Please note that only one promotional code can be applied per order. Once the code is successfully applied, the total amount will automatically update to reflect the discount. If you wish to remove the applied promotional code, click "Remove" in your account or during checkout, and the discount will be revoked, reverting the total amount back to its original value.
  • Why are shipping restrictions applied to some items?
    Due to international trade agreements and the specific regulations of various countries, certain exotic skins may not be eligible for export to certain regions. These restrictions are in place to comply with international wildlife protection laws and customs regulations. If you have any questions about shipping restrictions or need clarification on whether your location is affected, please contact our Customer Service team at customerservice@dschafer.com. We will be happy to assist you with the necessary information.
  • How can I track my order?
    Your tracking information is provided in an email with your order shipping confirmation. If you have any questions or notice a discrepancy with your order, please retain all documentation and packaging, and contact us immediately by sending an email to customerservice@dschafer.com.
  • Is my package insured and what do I have to sign for the order?
    Since our collections are available in select stores, we are bound by the shipping regulations applicable to our distribution partners. All U.S. purchases are shipped from Guatemala via DHL. For security reasons, all DSCHAFER.COM purchases require an adult signature upon delivery unless otherwise specified by the customer. Delivery times may vary depending on the shipping destination and method chosen. When estimating the total delivery time for your purchase, please allow one to two business days to process your order for shipment in addition to the time indicated by your preferred shipping method. Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Please note that we cannot ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses not covered by DHL. D. Schafer is not responsible for unanticipated delays that may arise due to circumstances beyond our control.
  • I forgot my password. What should I do?
    To reset your password, follow the instructions on the SIGN IN page. Please note, for security reasons we are unable to send your old password by email.
  • How are Customs, Duties, and Taxes Calculated? When are They Collected?"
    Since our collections are available through our official channels, we comply with all relevant local and international policies, terms, and conditions. For export products, no sales tax (VAT) will be applied. Sales tax (IVA) is only applicable for local sales within Guatemala. The buyer is responsible for any duties, tariffs, or additional taxes that may be imposed by the destination country. DHL, or another shipping provider, will facilitate the payment of these charges when applicable. The exact amount of duties, tariffs, and taxes will depend on the product ordered and the rates established by the local government. Please note that in some instances, depending on the destination country, duties and taxes may be included in the price at checkout, meaning no additional fees will be required at the time of delivery. However, in most cases, these charges will be due upon receipt of the shipment.
  • Can I Ship to Multiple Addresses?
    No, we cannot ship to multiple addresses within the same order. The bill to and ship to address must match to deliver the order. With Pay Pal you may place an order from different countries.
  • Can I Modify or Cancel My Order?
    After you place an international order, you are not permitted to modify it. If you would like to cancel your order, you have a two-hour period to cancel once your order has been placed.   • Which Payment Methods are Accepted?
